Do You offer tutorials or classes?
We have no current plans.
Are you registered with the local authority?
Yes, we are registered with the Local Authority.
Our artist is qualified in Level 2 Food Hygiene and our products are produced in a well managed, clean domestic environment.
Why can't I book the date I want on the website?
The website allocates orders by limiting the number of cupcakes our artist can produce in a day. We constantly monitor the workflow and as such, extra days may randomly become available, so please keep a check on the website calendar. Some days are blank (even a cupcake artist in high demand needs a rest! ). We will release new dates in 30 day blocks, so keep an eye on our social media pages to see notifications as to when these become available.
Can you make a unique arrangement for me?
Every cupcake is produced by hand, just for you. Therefore every cupcake is unique. If you want a special cupcake theme, let us know. You can contact us through social media. We can give you a special reference number to include in your booking. If you need inspiration, check out our gallery. There are hundreds of products to browse. Just make a note of the BN number and include it on the booking page.
Can you cater for weddings?
Yes we can offer a wedding service. Booking would need to be at least 6 months in advance and a 30% non-returnable deposit would be payable. Please contact us through our social media pages to arrange.
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
No. Unfortunately we can not claim any product is suitable for people with allergies or other special dietary concerns. At this time we make no vegan products.
I love your cupcakes. How do you make them?
It is true that neither our sponge or buttercream recipes are straightforward. The secret is in the method. However, we pride ourselves on being the best and we'd like to keep it that way, so our lips are sealed! However, we can confirm that all of our ingredients are high quality natural products. Generally a mix of traditional and vegan products go into each cupcake.
Can your cupcakes be frozen?
We do not recommend freezing of our products.
Orders
How do I place an order?
You may like to start in our gallery to find a bouquet style you like. On mobile, the gallery is accessible through the menu by tapping the three black lines at the top right of the page.
If you see a product you like, note the number from the image, you will enter this on the product page.
Now using the menus, navigate to the page for the product you require. At the bottom of the options is a calendar box. View the calendar box for the date you require. If the date is unavailable, the day is unfortunately already fully booked for that day. Once you have a date, select your theme. You can choose a theme colour and a seasonal theme by clicking a selection button. You may alternatively include a 'BN' reference number from our gallery, or add text that outlines your requirements. Once you are ready, click add to cart.
You now have ten minutes to choose a topper or a presentation box. The links are on the product page. Add these to the cart in the same manner. The date should be selected for you.
Once you are done, click the cart icon to proceed to checkout. At checkout you will add your email address. We use your email address to process your order and send you confirmation. The confirmation will include the collection address and all the information you provided for your order. If you would like to be kept up to date with our newsletter, you can choose to do so. Why can't my order be fulfilled?
The order system is live and we receive a lot a traffic. Once you press 'add to cart' we reserve your order for 10 minutes. If the transaction is not completed, the date is released and may have been taken by someone else. Therefore there is insufficient capacity to accept your order.
It is also possible that the date you have been able to select was taken by another buyer before you checked out. You're date will only be reserved once you press add to cart. After adding to cart, in this instance the system will advise you to amend your booking.
Additionally, you may have multiple items in your cart and some of your order may not be fulfillable on the date selected. Review your order before processing. Note that as our orders are capacity based, a smaller bouquet is more likely to be allocated days than a large bouquet. If you want a large and a small bouquet or bag, find a date for the large bouquet first. If you're struggling to add a small bouquet or bag on a day you've booked a large (24/30) bouquet, let us know through our social media pages and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Where do I collect my order from?
An email will be sent to your email address after you complete checkout. This will confirm your order and advise on the collection address which is in the Stoke-on-Trent ST2 locale.
Can I change my order?
Amendments may be possible depending upon the workflow planned for your chosen collection day. Please contact us through our social media pages quoting your order reference number.
Can I cancel my order?
Each creation is unique and particular to you, as such your order is in part a booking for our artist's time and as such orders can not be cancelled at short notice. More than 3 weeks prior to the delivery date for your order, it is possible to cancel and refunds will be honoured. In such circumstances, please contact us through our social media pages, quoting your order reference number.
Do you deliver?
We are not currently offering a delivery service.
I didn't receive confirmation of my order.
Confirmation emails with the collection address are sent automatically. If you did not receive the email firstly check your spam filter inbox. If the email is there, mark it as 'not spam' in order that you don't miss future emails. If you can't find an email, drop us a message by email or through our social media pages and we will send the confirmation to you again.
Your cupcakes are packaged in boxes and covered with cellophane, and are best transported either in the boot or passenger footwell of your vehicle.
How do I unsubscribe from your mailing list?
Send a email from the address you wish to unsubscribe to tickledenquires@gmail.com with the subject "unsubscribe".
